Job summary

MVP Consulting Plus, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer for a 30-month contract to support the Department of Labor website redesign. You will design, build, test, and document key use cases and ensure ADA/WCAG-compliant interfaces.

The role emphasizes REST/SOAP integration, data-access components, and cloud deployments, with a focus on performance and secure, scalable web services.

Qualifications

• 60 months of Java-based web app experience (J2EE or Spring Boot).
• 48 months of Angular UI development with ADA/WCAG accessibility.
• 48 months of REST or SOAP service development and integration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and document required use cases.
• Develop accessible UI screens and reusable components with Angular.
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP services and integrate components end-to-end.
• Create complex SQL data-access code for DB2 and relational DBs.
• Perform testing, identify defects, and optimize performance.
• Use GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Deploy and maintain apps on Google Cloud Platform and other clouds.
• Configure web servers (Apache/Nginx) and implement SSO/CORS/CDN rules.
• Create technical designs, diagrams, and operation procedures.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor State staff in best practices.
