Job summary

Greycell Labs Inc. is seeking a on-site Full Stack Java Developer/Architect in Albany, NY for the NYSDOL Website Redesign project. The role expects extensive Java/J2EE/Spring Boot experience, Angular UI work, and cloud/CI/CD capabilities for a long-term engagement.

The position focuses on building scalable web applications, integrating services, and ensuring accessibility and security across the stack on a government project. On-site work in Albany is required.

Qualifications

• 60 months of experience with Java-based, multi-tier web apps (J2EE or Spring Boot).
• 48 months of experience with Angular UIs and ADA/WCAG-compliant interfaces.
• 48 months of experience building and integrating REST or SOAP services.
• 24 months of experience with SQL/DB2/Hibernate/JPA.
• 36 months of experience with GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• 24 months of experience with Google Cloud or enterprise cloud platforms including CDN/externals hosting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based multi-tier web applications.
• Develop and unit-test Angular front ends and reusable components.
• Create and integrate REST/SOAP services and backend business logic.
• Write complex SQL queries and data-access components; optimize performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage repository workflows.
• Configure cloud hosting and CDN integrations; ensure data security and SSO when applicable.
• Analyze existing designs and contribute to roadmaps and technical debt reduction.

• 48 months of experience developing Angular user interfaces, reusable components, and accessible web applications that meet ADA or WCAG requirements.
• 48 months of experience developing and integrating REST or SOAP services, backend business services, batch jobs, and application interfaces.
• 24 months of experience developing complex relational database queries and data-access components using SQL, DB2, Hibernate, JPA, or comparable technologies.
• 36 months of experience using GitHub or GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipeline technologies for automated build, test, and deployment activities.
