Job summary

GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to join the team supporting Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM.

This full-time role offers hybrid flexibility and will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for mission-critical systems. You will work with customers and end users to translate requirements into robust web applications using ASP.NET, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, REST APIs, and CMS/SharePoint experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; 8 years related experience preferred.
• Experience with software development methodologies, tools, processes, source control, and databases.
• Strong web development experience with ASP.NET, Bootstrap, UI/UX, and CMS/SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Supports software applications and systems by investigating, designing, documenting, and implementing software solutions.
• Works with customers, product owners, and end users to understand business needs.
• Develops concepts for information system solutions and evaluates the cost effectiveness of those concepts.
• Provides training and support for end-user customers.
• Uses Agile and Scrum project management methodologies; gathers customer requirements; performs risk management.
