Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a Software Developer (Scientist 2) in the Nuclear Systems Group to support national security applications. You will develop new software, modify existing systems, and deploy applications using modern methodologies within a high-security environment.

Collaborate across cross-functional teams, write proposals, and travel as needed. A STEM bachelor’s degree with 4 years of related experience is required, with active security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and SCRUM methodologies.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages listed.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software for a diverse customer base.
• Maintain and modify existing software per customer needs.
• Write, test, and deploy applications using modern methodologies.
