Job Description

EHCG is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to lead a large software development effort for our government client. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and high-quality software applications. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of software development experience in DOD/Federal environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and feedback to team members.
• Lead architectural design and implementation of scalable, high-performance, reliable software systems.
• Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Develop, review, and test software solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and improve software performance and stability.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers.
• Communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Location: This is a remote position with occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA.

Requirements

• Active DOD Secret Clearance.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• IAT III certification (e.g., CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, GCIH, CCSP).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in software development and management, including lifecycle processes.
• Experience with developer environments such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, and NetBeans.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
