Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, information systems or related discipline with progressive software development experience.
Must have extensive expertise in software development concepts, principles, and theory; strong technical proficiency.
Ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in evolving environments.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for interfacing with multiple departments.
Experience with software design, documentation, and collaboration in government/DoD contexts.

Responsibilities

Determine technical objectives for enterprise software development within the broader scope.
Formulate plans and guide development of software solutions including language, platform, and testing.
Coordinate deployment and maintenance of enterprise applications across platforms.
Represent the organization as a prime technical contact for projects and publish technical papers.
