Allied Consultants has been contracted with the Texas State Government for 34 years, we are a Top Ten ranked vendor, and premier provider of technical and business staffing solutions. We are currently seeking a contract Senior Software Developer (Appian) to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Department of Information (DIR).

Work Hours and Location

Full Time: 8:00AM-5:00PM CST

Job Location: Remote

Responsibilities

We are looking for an Appian Certified Developer with to design and deploy business applications using Appian’s low-code platform. Responsibilities include developing SAIL interfaces, integrating APIs, and collaborating with teams to ensure efficient delivery. Candidates should have a strong technical foundation, Agile experience, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Appian Developer Certification is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build Appian applications using SAIL and Process Models
• Develop integrations with external systems via APIs
• Optimize UI performance and responsiveness
• Write unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with analysts and QA teams for validation

Requirements

• Appian or low-code platform development experience
• Agile methodology experience
• Strong design, development, and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, computer science, or related technical field
• Equivalent work experience may be substituted (high school diploma required)
