The Senior Software Developer provides hands- on technical leadership for Community College Survey of Student Engagement's (CCCSE) integrated portfolio of web applications, survey and data systems, databases, analytics tools, and operational platforms. This position is responsible for maintaining, improving, and connecting systems that have evolved across multiple technology stacks and organizational functions into a reliable, secure, supportable technology environment. The successful candidate will be an experienced developer who can work effectively with legacy and modern systems; translate program, analytic, event, and administrative needs into practical technical solutions; and provide day-to-day supervision and mentoring for a junior IT staff member. This role is essential to ensure that CCCSE’s technology supports its national work with community colleges, including survey administration, institutional data collection and analytics, conference and event operations, web services, and internal business processes.
$85,000 + depending on qualifications
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
