Remote position with occasional travel to USMEPCOM facilities, the Great Lakes Area, Waukegan, IL area, to support joint application design/development.

Responsibilities

Seeking top talent to join our growing team. Team responsibilities include:

• Work in a collaborative, agile environment to pair programming and writing unit tests.
• Collaborate with team leads, peers, and customer to ensure alignment with end-user requirements and feature specifications.
• Test and deploy programs and applications through to production.
• Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 plus years of experience in software programming
• BA, Computer Programming or equivalent degree.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Over 4 years of experience with Ruby, React, GraphQL, and Postgres
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and Github.
• Experience working on distributed virtual agile teams

• Background in cloud development and knowledge of DoD Secure coding techniques

Preferred Qualification:

• Active or existing DOD government clearance.
• Experience programming in an AWS Environment
• Additional related certifications.
• Knowledge developing enterprise applications running in FEDRAMP GovClouds.
