Remote Position

Rate: OPEN - Hourly (w2 non-benefited or c2c [c2c – you must have your name in the Articles of Incorporation])

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with the compliance analysts to identify data requirements and support automation initiatives.
• Develop and Test Custom Tanium Sensors for Windows and Linux Servers
• Review existing Tanium sensors and make recommendations for improvement based on requirements technical requirements
• Analyze processes and workflows to develop automation solutions that improve efficiency.
• Work closely with the Compliance Analysts to understand requirements and design and develop automated solutions
• Adhere to and enhance standards and procedures to meet policy and compliance requirements.
• Query and manipulate large data sets using SQL, with a focus on Data Manipulation Language (DML).
• Communicate clearly and present findings to various stakeholders.
• Produce comprehensive documentation using diagramming and data processing applications to support project development and implementation.
• Provide valuable input to project plans related to development initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Proven experience in developing custom sensors and saved questions in Tanium for both Windows and Linux servers
• 5+ years’ experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, and .NET.
• 3+ years in querying and manipulating large datasets using SQL, particularly Data Manipulation Language (DML).
• Proven experience with OS (Windows, Linux, ESXi) security configurations
• 5+ years’ experience in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Experience in both windows and Linux configurations
• Experience working under dynamic and transforming work environments
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong time management skills and eagerness to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Experienced developer of Dashboard and workflows using PowerBI and Power Automate
• Experience in Project Management methodologies, Agile, Kanban or SCRUM
• Experience with technical guidelines such as DISA STIGs or CIS Benchmarks
