Job description

International Medical Group, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Senior Software Developer.

The position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, but remote work within the U.S. will also be considered.

This position involves designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications and components, as well as supporting and/or installing software applications and components. The role primarily utilizes established development tools, guidelines, and conventions, mainly using C#, ASP.NET, and Angular. The developer will also collaborate with the business and other developers to design solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications and components; support and install software applications and components.
2. Work from written specifications and pre-established guidelines; maintain documentation of process flow.
3. Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, .NET, WCF, SOAP, RESTful Services, and C#.
4. Design, code, and test new Windows and web software applications.
5. Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
6. Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting defects.
7. Perform code reviews.
8. Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
9. Create technical specifications and test plans.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
