The Senior Software Developer is accountable for every phase of the Software Development Lifecycle, encompassing analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. This involves crafting user information solutions through the development, integration, and maintenance of applications, along with providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members. The role entails writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code, employing best software development practices, and possessing expertise in developing secure APIs while interfacing with a diverse range of data through APIs. Additionally, the Senior Software Developer formulates application development plans, establishing expectations and feature priorities across the development lifecycle.
The candidate must have a strong commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards along with a good understanding and commitment to the Catholic and Jesuit mission of Creighton University.
