Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for SmartPlant products as part of an agile team, including software development, certification, quality assurance, and technical documentation.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle using agile methodologies, including requirements analysis.
• Design and support enhancements such as new functions, features, and improvements for the Smart Completions software product.
• Develop cloud-based web solutions, including GUI, reports, and dashboards, and contribute to mobile solutions using the latest technologies.
• Collaborate with planning/design teams, analyze product requirements, prototype, and support implementation and testing of new releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, preferably remotely.
• Practical experience in relevant technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular/React/Vue, C#, SQL, REST API.
• Understanding of agile methodologies (scrum).
• Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks like Xamarin or MAUI, reporting tools like Crystal Reports, dashboard software like Power BI, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes/Azure App Services is preferred.

This position is remote within Southeastern, Central, or Eastern US time zones. Hexagon will not sponsor work visas.
