Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Aurora, CO, is seeking a Software Configuration Analyst 4 to establish and maintain software baselines, manage builds, and control changes. The role supports development and integration teams with reliable builds and documented releases in line with CM plans and standards.

The candidate will coordinate documentation, release activities, and change control, ensuring traceability to requirements, tickets, and baselines while collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with extensive relevant experience.
• Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application is required.
• Experience with software builds, CI/CD pipelines, and build automation tools.
• Knowledge of managing multiple software baselines and branching/merging strategies.
• Ability to document software changes with traceability to requirements or tickets.
• Familiarity with document control practices using ALM tools.
• Experience releasing build-related documents and artifacts.
• Experience facilitating change control processes (CCB/ECN).
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined CM process follow-through.
• Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor software builds across environments.
• Establish and control multiple software baselines and branches.
• Implement and maintain CM processes and tools (Git, SVN) for traceability.
• Coordinate documentation of software changes and link to requirements/tickets.
• Maintain documentation control for CM artifacts (build instructions, release notes).
• Manage release of documents (release notes, build manifests, interface documents).
• Lead or support Change Control Board meetings and decisions.
• Ensure compliance with CM plans, standards, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with development, systems engineering, test, and integration teams.
• Monitor CM metrics and suggest process improvements.
