Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Software Asset Manager to oversee licensing compliance, audits, and asset optimization in Beaverton, OR. You will manage the full software asset lifecycle, lead vendor audits, and develop reporting to monitor compliance and usage.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in SAM/ITAM, hands-on with ServiceNow SAM Pro, SCCM, Intune, and Jamf, and strong analytical and stakeholder skills. This is a fully onsite contract role with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management.
• Hands-on with software audits and vendor licensing.
• Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, SCCM, Intune, and Jamf.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and validate license counts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with license optimization and audit prep.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
• Lead audits with vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM, Salesforce.
• Perform license reconciliation, usage analysis, and compliance reporting.
• Use ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune, and Jamf to track installations and entitlements.
• Drive license optimization and reclaimation to cut costs.
• Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor compliance and usage.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, and tech teams on governance.
