Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Analyst, Software Asset Management to manage software assets lifecycle across the enterprise using ServiceNow SAMPro. You will ensure license entitlements, usage, and compliance while supporting purchasing and cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, Legal, and business units.

The role requires 3+ years in SAM or IT procurement, hands-on SAMPro experience, and ability to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Procurement, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAMPro or comparable SAM tool.
• Willingness to travel to clients and FTI offices.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage software license entitlements in ServiceNow SAMPro, ensuring data accuracy and contract alignment.
• Monitor software usage, identify optimization opportunities, and reduce cost and risk.
• Coordinate and support software vendor true-up exercises, including data validation and reporting.
• Serve as a point of contact for software license audits with documentation and reports.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and business units to maintain compliance and lifecycle management strategies.
• Process purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) for software titles, ensuring cost allocation and approval routing.
• Track PR/PO approvals to prevent delays and ensure timely processing.
• Maintain up-to-date SAM process documentation and controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in software asset and procurement operations.
