Job summary
Truist is seeking a senior software architect to shape the architecture and delivery of high-impact software solutions. You will provide cross-team technical leadership, mentoring, and set direction across complex, strategic initiatives within the division.
You will lead end-to-end technical design for scalable, secure, and available software, partnering with senior leadership to drive innovative patterns and roadmap alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in software development and architecture.
- Expert proficiency in multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, security, testing, and deployment practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of payment workflows and resiliency for high-volume transactions.
- Define software architecture and engineering approaches for complex, high-impact initiatives across the division.
- Pioneer and promote advanced software engineering standards and governance across multiple teams.
- Partner with senior technology leadership, product, and architecture teams to inform technology strategy with deep technical insight.
- Lead end-to-end technical design of scalable, secure, and highly available software solutions and create reference implementations.
