Job summary

Anaplan, a leader in AI-infused scenario planning and analysis, is seeking an Engineer IV to join our growing engineering team. You will be a technical leader and individual contributor driving design decisions and delivering scalable web applications and cloud-based solutions.

You will mentor developers, shape architecture, and champion best practices across the team, while partnering with product management and design to implement robust, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Expert-level proficiency in modern .NET web and API development.
• Strong experience with modern UI frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular).
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Advanced proficiency in database design (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Deep expertise in software architecture patterns for scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience with microservices, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture for complex, scalable systems.
• Drive engineering best practices, coding standards and processes.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third‑party services.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and lead code reviews.
• Work with Azure to design, deploy and maintain scalable apps.
• Collaborate with product and design to implement technical solutions.
