OnPoint Community Credit Union seeks a Senior Software Developer to lead complex projects and mentor developers in Portland, OR. You will design scalable solutions, drive the SDLC, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, proficiency in Java/C#/Python/JavaScript, and strong web tech experience (React/Node.js). Emphasis on secure, scalable microservices and Azure cloud expertise.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Strong experience with web technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js).
• In-Depth knowledge of database management (MS SQL).
• Knowledge in Azure cloud services.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, DevOps) and CICD processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on user experience.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API Development.
• Knowledge of DevOps best practices and tools for automated deployment.
• Experience with security best practices and building secure applications.

Responsabilidades

• Design, architect, and develop scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Lead the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, and deployment.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in applications.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted development tools and AI-driven features where appropriate, including testing, documentation, and performance monitoring.
• Apply responsible AI practices by protecting sensitive data, validating outputs for accuracy and bias, and ensuring solutions comply with security, risk, and governance requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve software practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and provide timely solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and maintain comprehensive records of software functionality.
• Lead critical projects and provide direction to the development team.
• Make strategic architectural decisions that support and align with business objectives.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly software through best practices.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhancements.
