Job summary

Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) is seeking a Senior Programmer / Senior Software Developer to architect, design, and deliver scalable digital platforms and ministry tools. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor developers, and drive architectural best practices across multiple stacks and cloud-based deployments (Azure).

You will own end-to-end projects—from concept to deployment—ensuring modularity, performance, and security while collaborating with ministry partners and non-technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Advanced certifications in cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure), software architecture, or DevOps are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Architect and Develop Solutions across multiple technology stacks and frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Lead end-to-end projects from concept through deployment, including requirements gathering and implementation.
• Address performance, security, and scalability, and manage DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (Azure).
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and align with ministry goals.
