Job summary

CCV is seeking a Lead Programmer in Arizona to spearhead design, development, and maintenance of full-stack applications empowering CCV’s digital platforms and ministry partners. You will lead a team, guide front-end and back-end efforts, and shape technology architecture to align with ministry goals.

You will mentor developers, implement best-practices, and ensure security by design across systems while integrating with Azure data lake and core business apps.

Qualifications

• Proven history of designing and building successful applications across platforms.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing systems leveraging cloud technologies.
• 5+ years practicing Agile Software Development.
• 5+ years of hands-on application development on web and mobile products with back-end server integration.
• Experience with DevOps build and test automation and ability to articulate pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience with automated testing (functional and non-functional).
• Strong knowledge of development tools, languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, Swift), APIs, and software development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.Net & ASP.Net Core, Xamarin, Azure Web Apps, Azure VMs/Infrastructure.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field; certifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in building full-stack solutions and mobile apps for CCV departments and ministries.
• Mentor team on best practices and design patterns for customer-facing websites and apps.
• Capture requirements from stakeholders and translate into timely deliverables.
• Oversee Azure cloud architecture and optimize cloud resource usage.
• Ensure systems follow Secure by Design principles and proper authentication/authorization.
• Integrate with Azure Fabric (data lake) and systems like FMS, HRMS, CHMS, Procurement.
• Design robust APIs in C# to support client applications and cross-platform communication.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with ministry partners and creative teams.
• Develop high-quality code and deliver features within deadlines.
• Continuously improve applications, lead feature enhancements, and maintain technical docs.
• Automate DevOps test and deployment pipelines and track KPI for delivery quality.
• Provide regular code reviews and mentorship to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage on-call rotations and incident response for digital platforms.
