Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Architect in Atlanta, GA with remote options to guide the design of brokerage applications and accelerate product innovation across the transportation sector.

You will mentor teams, review architectures and code quality, and ensure scalable solutions using microservices, REST APIs and cloud platforms. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
Understanding of microservices, micro frontends, and REST APIs.
Extensive knowledge of Agile software development processes.
Broad knowledge of enterprise architectures, architectural styles, and design patterns.
Understanding of full-stack coding methodologies and programming languages.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and architectural oversight of brokerage applications.
Mentor development teams to design, develop, deploy and maintain enterprise architectures.
Ensure code quality and proper use of patterns and best practices.
Review feature epics to determine effort and break them into tasks.
Participate in recruitment of new team members.
