Bluelight Consulting is seeking a senior software architect to design and oversee large, low-latency systems across the US and LATAM. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure implementation aligns with best practices.

You will lead API design, security considerations, and multi-tenant strategies while collaborating with clients and delivery teams to achieve outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with architecture focus.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS.
• Experience with audit/evidence systems and deterministic replay.
• Secure multi-tenant architecture knowledge.
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and run architecture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee scalable, secure architectures for complex systems.
• Lead architecture reviews and produce ADRs and diagrams.
• Mentor engineering teams and enforce technical standards.
