Job summary

Culper Technology in Maryland seeks a Software Application Support Systems Engineer to ensure stability, availability, and performance of mission-critical software applications. You’ll troubleshoot issues, monitor systems, and work with Linux and containerized services.

You'll engage with Docker, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, AWS, NiFi, and related dataflow technologies while providing after-hours on-call support. A BS in a relevant field and 10+ years SE experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph.
• 10+ years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; substitutions allowed for 5 extra years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and support complex software applications in operational environments.
• Troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and maintain system health and uptime.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and user resources.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to implement solutions.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as needed.
