Peraton is looking for a knowledgeable Software Application Support Systems Engineer in Maryland. In this role, you will provide operational support to ensure the performance and stability of software applications. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, providing user support, and collaborating with engineers to implement fixes.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Software Application Support Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role you will provide Operational Support and be responsible for ensuring the stability and optimal performance of our software applications.
You will act as a point of contact for technical issues, troubleshooting software errors, providing user support, and collaborating with our engineering team to implement fixes.
This will require the ability to start, stop and diagnose services running in Linux. Some software includes Apache NiFi, Datarunner, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, AWS EC2 instances, CHAP. You will provide after-hour "on-call" support as needed.

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
