Job summary

Rising Ground in Queens, NY seeks a Full Time Professional to conduct intakes, mental health assessments, screenings, ISP development, case management and therapeutic services for Runaway and Homeless Youth participants. You will work under the Lead Social Worker to address the physical, emotional, educational and social needs of residents.

The role requires an MSW and licensure is preferred; benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• MSW degree required.
• LMSW or LCSW licensing preferred.
• Evening and weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes, mental health assessments and screenings.
• Develop Individual Service Plans (ISP) and provide case management.
• Provide therapeutic services to RHY participants and track progress.
• Enter data in designated systems and collaborate with service providers.
• Assist with housing applications and participate in weekly meetings.
