Job summary

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to hire a Social Worker III for the Madden Mental Health Center located in Hines, Illinois. Using established work principles performs highly responsible and complex social work services on an assigned unit.

Makes social assessment of persons admitted and from evaluation provides intensive services to persons with severe emotional and psycho-social disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work from a recognized college or university.
• Requires licensure as a Clinical Social Worker by the DFPR.
• Ability to read, speak and write Spanish at a colloquial level.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly responsible and complex social work services on an assigned unit.
• Evaluate clinical problems and community provider services for future placement.
• Develop treatment strategies and evaluate group, individual and family counseling sessions.
