Job summary

Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) in Las Vegas is recruiting for a Social Worker 3 to support Adult Protective Services. This role investigates abuse, neglect, exploitation, isolation, and abandonment of vulnerable adults 18 and older and 60+ and conducts home visits and assessments.

You will perform advanced case management, develop case plans, coordinate services, and work under limited supervision with potential MDT involvement.

Qualifications

• Provides case management services for vulnerable adults
• Performs crisis intervention and safety assessments
• Coordinates services with agencies and programs
• Evaluates client needs and progress to adjust plans

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess client functioning through interviews and reviews
• Develop and implement case plans with intervention strategies
• Coordinate networks of services from state agencies and providers
• Provide ongoing case management including home visits and document case activities
• May organize MDT meetings and train/lead staff as needed
• Conduct crisis intervention and report to authorities when necessary
• Perform related duties under supervision and advance to complex caseloads
