Job summary

Office of Juvenile Justice in Monroe, LA seeks an experienced Social Worker 7 to lead treatment and case management in a secure-care setting. You will supervise clinical staff and contracted providers, guiding evidence-based behavioral health services for youth and coordinating reintegration planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, program development, and ensuring timely, compliant documentation and high-quality services for youth.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in social work and five years of social services experience.
• License to practice as LMSW or LCSW in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to social services and treatment staff.
• Coordinate treatment planning, counseling, staffing, and reintegration planning.
• Monitor case files for timeliness, completeness, and compliance.
• Review progress notes and treatment records for quality and consistency.
• Participate in release, furlough and complex case staffing with required documentation.
• Ensure youth receive appropriate psychological, psychiatric, and behavioral health services.
• Oversee intake, referral, and case management for youth in treatment services.
• Coordinate mental health services with contracted providers and monitor delivery.
• Assist in designing and implementing therapeutic programs addressing youth needs.
• Serve as liaison between Social Services and administration with placement/treatment recommendations.
