Services for the UnderServed is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for a transitional program in Brooklyn, NY. The person in this role will provide leadership and guidance to Case Managers addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. Candidates must be Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) with a minimum of three years of clinical experience and two years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of the NYC HRA HASA entitlement system is preferred. The position emphasizes supportive services and crisis intervention.
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience with individuals with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse issues, mental illness, and history of homelessness required.
Minimum of two years supervisory experience required.
Experience in a residential setting strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to Case Managers around mental health and substance abuse issues.
Develop and maintain on-site supportive services including peer support groups and health education.
Act as a liaison to the HASA-EPU around admissions and room closures.
