Job summary

Mercor is seeking senior social work professionals to design evaluation tasks for AI systems operating in large human services and clinical social work contexts.

You will craft scenarios, draft reference outputs, and write rubrics reflecting how senior clinicians and case-management leaders think. Five or more years as an LCSW/LMSW or senior case manager in a hospital, child welfare, or behavioral health setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five+ years as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW/LMSW) or senior case management professional in large health or social service organizations.
• Direct ownership of clinical caseloads or program-level service delivery is required.
• Fluency in social work practice standards and case management tooling, with understanding of mandated reporting, interagency coordination, and ethical/legal compliance.
• Prior authorship of rubrics, training curricula, or case documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Construct social work scenarios spanning complex case assessment, multi-stakeholder care coordination, and crisis intervention or mandated reporting cycles.
• Build tasks across clinical social work practice areas including child and family welfare, healthcare social work, substance use, and mental health services.
• Develop practice scenarios involving tools such as electronic health/case record systems (EHR, CCWIS), risk assessments, and interagency referral platforms.
• Apply biopsychosocial, trauma-informed, and strengths-based frameworks and produce reference case plans, clinical documentation, and interdisciplinary communications.
• Author rubrics that distinguish authentic clinical judgment from generic recall.
