Job summary

WPP Media is seeking an Associate Director of Social to provide strategic leadership across paid social accounts, driving campaign quality and guiding client relationships. You will mentor teams, manage budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to identify platform opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in client communication, escalation handling, and paid social platform best practices.
• 2+ years of direct line-management experience. Mentoring junior/mid-level teammates.
• Senior client-facing experience, leading strategic client calls and setting expectations.
• Hands-on experience with major paid social platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest etc.).
• Proven ability to manage and optimize large-scale media budgets.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Execution: delegate and approve campaign strategy, forecasting, and measurement plans.
• Quality & Performance: serve as escalation point for launch, QA, data integrity, PCA.
• Direct career development and growth plans for direct reports.
• Oversee team bandwidth and workload to prevent burnout.
• Client Engagement: activation lead and escalation point for senior client stakeholders.
• Relationship Building: build relationships with media partners and internal teams; resolve issues.
• Workflow Optimization: drive process improvements across paid social workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new platform opportunities.
