Job summary

KittySpout is seeking a Social Media Manager to own organic content for KittySpout and DoggySpout across all social channels. You will plan, create, publish daily, and optimize based on performance to build an engaged community.

The role is fully remote, requires 2+ years of hands-on organic social for a DTC brand, and you will report to the Influencers & Partnerships Manager with a designer for larger pieces. Experience with Canva or Figma is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years running organic social for a DTC or consumer brand.
• Native-level written English.
• You create and publish content yourself, not just approve it.

Responsibilities

• Own the organic content strategy for KittySpout and DoggySpout across all social channels.
• Plan the content calendar one week ahead per brand and platform.
• Create and publish daily: write hooks and captions, shoot and edit short-form video, design day-to-day graphics and stories.
• Spot trends daily and get trend content live the same day.
• Turn creator and UGC content into organic posts that perform.
• Run the community: respond to comments and DMs, manage the Facebook group.
