Chewy is seeking a Senior Social Media Engagement Specialist who can spot trends, respond in real time, and speak with empathy, warmth, and cultural savvy across social channels. You’ll monitor TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms, respond to high‑visibility interactions, and collaborate with Marketing, PR, Legal, and CX to keep Chewy’s voice authentic and on brand.

Qualifications

Excellent written communication across an emotional spectrum in public spaces.
Experience engaging on brand social channels or large online communities.
Deep knowledge of social trends, memes, platform features and dynamics.
Ability to multitask across screens, tools, and conversations.
Experience with Sprinklr and native platform tools (Meta/TikTok).
Proactive trend identification and initiative-taking.

Responsibilities

Respond to sensitive, high-visibility interactions with empathy, wit, and Chewy voice.
Resolve executive-level escalations with urgency and root-cause analysis.
Maintain real-time quality control across Chewy’s comments, posts, and DMs.
Scan platforms to spot trend-worthy content and opportunities.
Propose proactive engagement concepts for cross-functional review.
Collaborate with Marketing, PR, Legal, and CX for brand alignment.
Create and maintain internal playbooks and process maps.
Mentor junior Social Media Specialists and lead shift handoffs.
