Job summary

Code and Theory seeks a senior creative lead to guide content and social-first campaigns from concept to hands-on execution. You’ll craft platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and more, while flexing across copy, art direction, design, and motion guidance.

You will mentor junior designers and writers, collaborate with strategists and producers, and push AI-enhanced, high-performance creative that scales across a global client roster.

Qualifications

• Experience across social, content, and platform-first storytelling in an agency, publisher, or in-house team.
• Strong portfolio showing conceptual thinking and hands-on execution across copy, design, and cross-platform content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and generative tools (Firefly, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Veo).
• Deep understanding of modern content formats, platform behaviors, audience dynamics, and creative performance metrics.
• Experience delivering work across static, motion, editorial, live-action, and hybrid production.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills to pitch ideas and bring them to life quickly.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior designers, editors, and writers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative development of content and social-first projects from concept to hands-on execution.
• Flex across writing, art direction, visual design, and motion guidance for native-feeling feed content.
• Craft platform-specific executions for formats like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Translate briefs into modular content and quick-fire storytelling formats.
• Use AI workflows to accelerate ideation, design, and production.
• Develop systems and templates that blend human creativity with machine speed.
• Collaborate with tech and motion leads to explore new formats and innovations.
• Guide and mentor junior team members and ensure efficient workflows.
