Job summary

E-Solutions is seeking an experienced SoC validation engineer for on-site roles in Sunnyvale, CA or Redmond, WA. The candidate will lead power/performance characterization across Pre-Si and Post-Si stages, drive cross-functional HW/SW validations, and develop verification plans for ARM-based SoCs with AMBA interconnects.

You will work hands-on with prerun power analysis tools, NI Data Acquisition, and RTL/workflow debuggers while interfacing with firmware, software, and silicon teams to bring up

Qualifications

• Hands-on SoC validation with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience in Pre-Si and Post-Si tooling.
• C/C++ embedded software for bare metal, RTOS or Linux.
• Experience with ARM CPU and AMBA architecture.
• Board bring-up and debug understanding.
• Familiarity with IO protocols (MIPI, PCIe, USB, I2C, UART, GPIO).
• Knowledge of OS concepts and multithreading.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Correlate power estimations with architectural specs and drive HW/SW optimizations to meet targets.
• Lead and debug failures with cross-functional teams across software, firmware, hardware and silicon.
• Develop test plans across architecture, design and software teams; correlate silicon data.
• Write low-level driver code for RTOS to configure subsystems and drive pre-Si/validation.
• Debug and bring-up low power SoCs and lead system hardware validation using lab tools.
