Collabera is seeking a Silicon System Validation Engineer to validate high-performance SoCs and associated firmware on-site in Sunnyvale, CA. The role involves developing validation plans, executing tests, and building FW tools to support debug and validation efforts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in embedded systems or firmware, strong JTAG debugging skills, and experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation. Onsite work with collaborative, agile teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in bring-up and validation of complex SoCs.
• 3+ years of embedded systems or firmware development experience.
• Proficiency with JTAG debuggers and firmware tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop SoC and E2E system validation plan and execute.
• Develop FW tooling for debug and validation.
• Test execution and debugging of system HW/SW/FW components.
• Power and performance characterization on pre-silicon and post-silicon boards.
• Create diagnostic tools to test firmware functionality and reliability.
• Adapt validation plans in an agile environment.
