Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior SoC Software Engineer to shape the future of accelerated computing for AI factories, data centers, and space-based platforms. You will develop and maintain software across the full lifecycle for complex heterogeneous systems powering AI, HPC, and large-scale workloads.

You will work at the intersection of hardware, firmware, OS, and AI, collaborating with top engineers to solve challenging problems and push the boundaries of data center products.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong C and C++ programming skills, including object-oriented design.
• Experience with low-level systems software, device drivers, firmware, or hardware-facing programming.
• A strong understanding of processor architecture fundamentals, preferably ARM.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and planning skills, with the ability to lead technically complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SoC software, validation solutions, and test frameworks across the complete software development lifecycle.
• Pioneer next-generation system validation and reliability software from virtual prototypes to production hardware and deployment.
• Spearhead initiatives to improve software for design validation, thermal/power characterization, manufacturing screening, and bring-up.
• Investigate and drive root-cause analysis of board- and system-level failures across hardware and software boundaries.
• Collaborate across teams and with customers to bring next-generation computing platforms to life.
