Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior SoC Software Engineer to shape accelerated computing across CPU/datacenter systems. You will design and maintain software for complex heterogeneous SoCs, spanning user space, kernel, firmware, and boot software, helping AI factories and data centers run efficiently.

Collaborate across hardware, firmware, OS, and AI teams to push performance, reliability, and power efficiency. Strong C/C++ skills, ARM knowledge, and leadership are essential for delivering robust systems

Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of industry experience.
Strong C and C++ programming skills with object-oriented design.
Experience with low-level systems software, device drivers, firmware, or hardware-facing programming.
Strong understanding of processor architecture fundamentals, preferably ARM.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop SoC software, validation solutions, and test frameworks across the software lifecycle.
Pioneer next-generation system validation and reliability software for pre/post-silicon bring-up.
Improve software for design validation, thermal/power characterization, and platform bring-up.
Investigate root-cause analysis of complex board- and system-level failures.
