Job summary

Talantir is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our 24/7 SOC team in New Jersey, delivering managed detection and response services. You will analyze alerts from SIEM/EDR/IDS/IPS and cloud security, lead investigations, and guide remediation in a fast-paced MSSP environment.

The role requires 2–5+ years in a SOC, strong networking/log analysis, MITRE ATT&CK knowledge, and the ability to work 24/7 shifts on-site. Certifications such as Security+ or CySA+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in a SOC or security operations role.
• Strong analytical skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and cloud security alerts.
• Lead incident investigations, containment, and remediation recommendations.
• Perform threat hunting and proactive security monitoring.
• Develop and improve SOC playbooks and response procedures.
