BankUnited is seeking a Security Operations Center professional to perform proactive assessment and analysis of cyber threat information across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will monitor network traffic, IDS/IPS, DLP events, and security logs, and collaborate with IT to respond to escalations and containment actions. A strong background in cloud security and incident response is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, CS, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud security tools (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with scripting languages.
• Firm grasp of IS controls design and implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyze network traffic, IDS/IPS, DLP events, security events and logs.
• Perform secondary reviews and maintain DLP systems and policies.
• Understand security and compliance policies and incident response processes.
• Review daily reports to ensure policy compliance.
• Escalate non-compliance issues and follow remediation actions.
• Respond to escalations with internal customers.
• Prioritize intrusion attempts vs. false alarms.
• Determine if security events should be escalated to incidents.
