Job summary

Independence Blue Cross, LLC is seeking an Information Security Analyst to act as a SME for cloud and enterprise security across Azure, AWS, and GCP, as well as on‑prem environments. You will strengthen security by evaluating, testing, documenting, and operationalizing controls while enabling secure business innovation.

In this role, you will contribute to incident preparedness, perform threat hunting and forensics, and collaborate with audit/exam teams and stakeholders to close gaps in

Qualifications

• Extensive information security experience including incident response and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements: HITRUST, PCI, NIST, HIPAA, SOC2.
• Experience across Windows, Linux/Unix, macOS; networks and endpoints.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing engagements.
• Change management and project management experience.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, GCP): design and implement security controls and workload hardening.
• Security Operations & Incident Response: monitor, investigate, and respond to incidents; contribute to SOC/IR workflows.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC): draft policies; interact with auditors; manage vendor security documentation.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: communicate risk clearly; produce technical reports and guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement: propose security solutions that enable innovation; stay ahead of threats.
