Job summary

MediaTek Incorporated is seeking a Compute Platform Engineer to support Tier 1 co-engineering partners through pre- and post-silicon phases to commercialization. You will be responsible for board bring up, debugging, and coordinating with support teams to drive timely resolutions.

The role emphasizes issue replication, test execution, and cross-functional collaboration across Windows and Android driver spaces, with a strong focus on platform-level debugging and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 10+ years of C/C++ programming experience.
• 10+ years of SoC system software development experience.
• Driver experience on Windows/Android.
• Strong knowledge of I2C/SPI/UART/GPIO, USB, PCIe, SDIO buses.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Bring up new platform boards and verify major functions.
• Regular software releases and branch conflict resolution.
• Track customer issues and coordinate with customers and internal teams for timely resolutions.
• Replicate and test reported issues to support root-cause analysis.
