Job summary

Google is seeking a Principal Chipset Project Engineer in Mountain View, CA to lead the engineering planning and execution of the chipset from concept through launch. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15 years of experience with custom silicon design, SoC/ASIC implementation, or hardware-software co-design.
• 10 years of technical leadership experience, including directing SoC development programs from concept to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Direct the execution of the entire SoC lifecycle from initial chip definition to tape-out and mass production.
• Collaborate with DSPG Silicon, Software, and Pixel Hardware teams to ensure day-one software sponsorship and production readiness.
• Coordinate deliverables across a matrixed global workforce, align schedules and dependencies, resolve blockers.
• Lead debug forums to drive root-cause analysis and rapid closure across teams.
