Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7 to 10 years of cybersecurity experience with SOC management and incident response command
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Oversee all SOC activities across cyber defense monitoring, alert triage, incident response, and threat analysis functions
• Maintain program tracking mechanisms including project schedules, risk registers, and issue logs; identify risks and issues and drive actions
• Ensure SOC deliverables are produced on time and to quality standards; uphold contractual obligations
• Lead the Information Security GAP Analysis function; assess security posture and remediation priorities
• Serve as primary incident commander during active security events; coordinate containment and escalation
• Coordinate with government personnel on SOC performance, events, risk, and security matters
• Operate in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities while maintaining continuity
• Ensure SOC team compliance with NICE Workforce Framework role definitions and training
• Develop and maintain SOC standards, playbooks, and governance documentation
• Produce executive-level SOC status reports and risk assessments
