WPS Health Solutions invites a Principal SOC Analyst to lead detection, investigation, and response across our government and commercial environments. You will design threat-informed detections, guide SIEM migration, and mentor SOC analysts while reporting to CTM management.

You will shape the SOC monitoring model, govern detections as code, and collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements. This hybrid role requires Wisconsin residency.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required for this position.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience.
• 5+ years in security operations, incident response, and/or detection engineering.
• Extensive experience architecting and governing detection engineering and SIEM operations.
• Extensive experience leading incident response using established frameworks.
• Proficient understanding of cloud, identity, and endpoint security telemetry across Azure, Entra ID, M365, AWS.
• Proficient in security automation, scripting, and SOAR playbooks.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, CMS ARS.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Design threat-informed detections mapped to MITRE ATT&CK across identity, endpoint, email, network, cloud.
• Lead major incidents from detection through recovery and post-incident review.
• Govern detections as code and lead SIEM migration content and log source integration.
• Operationalize threat intelligence to prioritize detections and investigations.
• Develop automation and AI-assisted workflows to streamline alert triage and response.
• Mentor SOC analysts and contribute to runbooks, SOPs, and audits.
