Job summary

WPS, a health solutions company, seeks a Manager of Cyber Threat Management to lead our SOC, incident response, and threat-detection programs in a hybrid Wisconsin environment.

The role reports to the CISO and guides vulnerability management, security automation, and enterprise security testing coordination across teams. A DoD-required US citizenship is required, with strong leadership and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to DoD restrictions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability management, application security, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of people-management experience leading technical security staff.
• Expertise with security monitoring, detection, and incident-response processes and technologies (SIEM/EDR).
• Expertise in vulnerability management and risk-based remediation coordination.
• Ability to lead under high pressure and coordinate detection, response, remediation activities.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cyber incident management, including detection, triage, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Own enterprise threat detection and security monitoring across systems and environments.
• Oversee security automation, SOAR, and detection engineering to speed response.
• Provide leadership across Application Security and coordinate remediation with development teams.
• Oversee vulnerability management, risk prioritization, and remediation tracking.
• Partner with Cyber Trust & Architecture and other teams to align priorities and reporting.
