Job summary

Akira Technologies seeks an Advanced SOC Analyst for Fort Bragg, NC to support USARC in cyberspace operations. You will perform Tier 2/3 blue team functions, including multi-source correlation, advanced incident investigation, root-cause analysis, threat hunting, and detection-content development.

The role is onsite at Fort Bragg and requires an active Secret clearance or higher, with mentorship to junior analysts and responsibility for rapid incident response and quality records.

Qualifications

• DoD 8140.03 qualifications for cyber defense analyst and incident responder roles.
• Active Secret clearance minimum; TS/SCI eligibility if required by role.
• Experience with enterprise SIEM, EDR/ENS, network-analysis tools, and IDS/IPS technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-source correlation across SIEM, EDR/ENS, NetFlow, PCAP and other telemetry to characterize events.
• Conduct advanced analysis of alerts, network and endpoint activity to identify malicious behavior.
• Recommend containment and eradication actions with stakeholders and ISSO.
• Own incident records end-to-end and ensure complete, accurate documentation in ARCYBER portals.
• Lead analysis of suspected APT activity and complex cyber intrusions.
• Plan hypothesis-driven threat-hunting missions using indicators and intel.
