Job summary

Akira Technologies is seeking an Intermediate SOC Analyst to support USARC cyberspace operations from Fort Bragg, NC. You will perform Tier 1 and 2 Blue Team functions, monitor SIEM alerts, triage incidents, document investigations, and follow established procedures.

The role requires an active Secret clearance and onsite work. The position emphasizes real-time security monitoring, cross-telemetry analysis, and contributing to analyst playbooks while coordinating with ISSO and operations

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring security events across SIEMs and host-based sensors.
• Ability to triage incidents, document findings, and follow incident-response playbooks.
• Familiarity with CJCSM 6510.01B categories and standard procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous monitoring of SIEM alerts and telemetry during watch shifts.
• Perform initial triage, classify incidents, create and assign tickets.
• Execute Tier 1 playbook actions and escalate to Tier 2 per SOPs.
• Maintain incident records through closure and provide QA on Tier 1 tickets.
• Support development of playbooks, procedures, and analyst guidance.
• Participate in monthly DCO training and share adversary TTP knowledge.
