Job summary

Prosegur invites an experienced Senior Security Operations Analyst to join its Cipher division in Lowell, MA. You will act as a senior escalation point within the SOC, monitor and investigate complex threats, and lead response activities for client environments.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with clients, improving detection capabilities, and supporting regulatory compliance across GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Strong communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, incident response, or related field.
• Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, firewalls, IDS/IPS, or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand security requirements, risks, and objectives.
• Provide recommendations to strengthen security posture and align with industry best practices.
• Communicate security findings, risks, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for SOC analysts investigating security alerts and incidents.
• Analyze suspicious activity, security events, and potential threats to determine risk and response.
• Support incident containment, eradication, recovery, and root-cause analysis.
• Identify trends to improve monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
• Maintain incident response procedures and post-incident reporting.
